Home textiles and clothing are a necessity; however, the textile industry has a substantial environmental impact. That is one reason we want to promote natural fibres, especially those with a lower carbon footprint such as linen and hemp. The environmental impact of cotton can be a controversial subject. Still, in combination with other natural fibres, it can make a versatile, lower impact fabric.
